FECUNDACIÓN IN VITRO (FIV)
Es el resultado de la unión óvulo – espermatozoide fuera del organismo de la mujer para su posterior transferencia.
¿QUÉ ES LA FECUNDACIÓN IN VITRO?
It is the result of the union of the ovum and sperm outside the woman’s body, either by placing the eggs in a sperm dilution (conventional in vitro) or by the injection of one sperm in each egg (ICSI), waiting for fertilization (which occurs in approximately 70% of the injected eggs), for subsequent transfer into the uterine cavity, transvaginally.
¿EN QUÉ CASOS ESTA INDICADO?
If the fallopian tubes (muscular tubes that connect the ovaries and uterus) have been blocked or damaged.
If your partner has a low sperm count.
If you suffer from endometriosis grades II, III and IV.
Low ovarian reserve.
For other factors such as: Cervical and Immunological.
If there is no explanation for your infertility.
If you choose to use donated eggs.
